Cindra Plus
The companion, with the kit
Cindra, with eyes on your whole day.
Cindra Plus adds three devices to your daily companion: a Fitbit on your wrist, a Muse EEG headband for short practices, and a VR headset for Karuna's immersive pain program. Cindra reads what they notice, so your check-ins start from how your body actually was, not just how you remember it.
Fitbit
Sleep, steps, resting heart rate, all day.
Wrist
Muse EEG headband
Ten-minute practices with live feedback.
Head
VR headset
Karuna's immersive pain program, at home.
Eyes
What's in the kit
Three devices. One companion
who reads them for you.
Each device sees a part of your day you can't easily report on your own. Cindra turns those parts into one gentle conversation, and never into a dashboard you have to manage.
Worn all day
Fitbit
A wearable you can forget about. It watches sleep, movement and resting heart rate in the background, so Cindra knows when a night was rough before you say so.
- What it tracks
- Sleep stages and duration, steps and active minutes, resting heart rate and heart-rate variability.
- What Cindra does with it
- Spots a short night or a boom-and-bust week and adjusts the day's plan before you open the app.
- Your part
- Wear it. Charge it a couple of times a week. That's it.
Cindra links through your Fitbit account. You can disconnect it at any time from Settings, and the data stops flowing immediately.
Ten minutes at a time
Muse EEG headband
A soft headband with EEG sensors that senses how settled or busy your mind is during a practice. Cindra guides the session and gives you live, kind feedback.
- What it tracks
- Brain-activity bands (such as alpha and theta), plus a calm-versus-active signal, only while you're wearing it for a guided practice.
- What Cindra does with it
- Turns the signal into gentle cues ("your mind just wandered, that's fine, come back"), and notices which practices settle you fastest.
- Your part
- Put it on for a short practice when Cindra suggests one, or whenever a flare needs a reset.
Muse readings are a wellness signal, not a medical measurement. They help Cindra coach your practice; they don't diagnose anything.
A few sessions a week
VR headset
Karuna's immersive pain program, the one used in pain clinics, delivered at home. Graded movement, visual and body-awareness exercises, and pain-neuroscience lessons you can step inside.
- What it tracks
- Which sessions you completed, range and confidence of movement in guided tasks, and how you rated each session afterwards.
- What Cindra does with it
- Picks the next session for your level, pairs it with that week's lesson, and brings it up at the right moment in your check-in.
- Your part
- Twenty to thirty minutes, two or three times a week, in a chair or a cleared corner of a room.
The VR program is designed to be done seated or with a hand on something stable. Cindra will tell you to stop and rest if a session isn't going well.
How it works
From unboxing to a rhythm
in your first week.
01
Start with Cindra
Use the companion on its own first. Daily check-ins, short lessons, your care team one tap away.
02
The kit arrives
Fitbit, Muse headband and VR headset ship together, pre-paired to your account.
03
Pair in one sitting
Cindra walks you through each device in about fifteen minutes. No app-hopping.
04
Let the signals settle
A week of wearing the Fitbit gives Cindra your baseline. It only compares you to you.
05
Check-ins get smarter
Cindra opens with what it noticed, suggests a practice or a VR session, and shares trends with your clinician.
What changes
Less reporting.
More noticing.
Without the kit, Cindra knows what you tell it. With the kit, it can say "it looks like you slept four hours" and ask how that feels, which is a very different conversation. Here is what each signal lets Cindra do.
FitbitSleep
A rough night changes the day's plan. Cindra lightens the movement goal, suggests a shorter lesson, and doesn't ask you to push.
FitbitMovement
Pacing becomes visible. The boom-and-bust pattern, where a good day leads to a crash, shows up in step counts days before it shows up in pain. Cindra names it gently and helps you find a baseline.
FitbitHeart rate
Stress gets a second witness. A rising resting heart rate across a week is a prompt to check in on sleep, flares and what's going on at home, not a verdict.
MusePractice
Mindfulness gets feedback. You hear, in real time, when your attention settles and when it drifts. Over weeks, Cindra learns which of its practices work best for you.
VRSessions
Movement gets safer and more confident. The VR program grades exposure to movement in a world where it's safe to try. Cindra ties each session to that week's pain-neuroscience lesson, so understanding and doing happen together.
All threeTrends
Your clinician sees the week, not a recollection. With your permission, Cindra shares a plain summary of sleep, movement, practice and VR progress before your next visit.
A week with Cindra Plus
What it feels like in practice.
Three moments from an ordinary week. None of them require you to open a chart.
Tuesday, 7:40 am
A short night
The Fitbit logged four and a half hours. Cindra's morning check-in starts there instead of with a pain score.
"That looked like a rough night. Let's keep today small. Want the five-minute lesson instead of the twelve?"
Thursday, 3:15 pm
A flare at work
You tell Cindra your back has flared. It suggests a ten-minute Muse practice and guides you through it with live cues.
"Your mind just wandered. That's completely normal. Come back to the breath when you're ready."
Saturday, 10:00 am
VR session, then a walk
The week's lesson was about hurt versus harm. Cindra queues a graded-movement VR session that puts the idea into practice, then suggests a gentle walk.
"You reached further today than last Saturday, and rated it easier. That's your nervous system learning it's safe."
What the kit is not
More signal. Same limits.
The devices make Cindra a better listener. They don't make it a doctor. Cindra Plus supports the care you already have and is built to know the edges of what software should do.
Not a diagnosis
Fitbit, Muse and VR data are wellness signals. Cindra never uses them to diagnose a condition or change a prescription.
Not an alarm
Cindra doesn't monitor you for emergencies and won't alert anyone on your behalf. In a crisis, call or text 988.
Yours to share
Nothing from the kit reaches your clinician unless you turn sharing on, and you choose which signals.
Questions
Before you add the kit.
Do I need all three devices?
No. Cindra Plus works with any of them. Connect only a Fitbit and Cindra uses sleep and movement; add the Muse later if guided practices become part of your routine. The VR program needs the headset, and it's the part most people ask for first.
I already own a Fitbit. Can I use it?
Yes. Any recent Fitbit that syncs to a Fitbit account will connect. The same goes for a Muse 2 or Muse S headband you already have. We'll confirm supported VR headsets when we open early access.
Is the VR program safe if I get dizzy or can't stand for long?
The program is designed to be done seated or with a hand on something stable, and sessions are short. Cindra checks in before and after each one and will tell you to stop and rest if a session isn't going well. If you have a vestibular condition, a seizure history, or an eye condition, talk with your clinician before starting.
What does Cindra actually do with EEG data?
It uses the Muse signal only during a guided practice, to give you live feedback and to learn which practices settle you. The raw signal is not stored after the session; only a short summary (how long, how settled, how it felt) is kept with your practice history. It's never used for anything diagnostic.
Will my clinician see everything?
Only what you choose. Sharing is off by default. When you turn it on, you pick which signals go into the summary your care team sees before a visit, and you can turn it off again at any time.
How much does Cindra Plus cost, and when can I get it?
We're finalizing pricing for the kit and the Plus subscription now, and early-access members will hear first. Join the waitlist and say "Plus" in the notes if you'd like to be in the first group.
